Wrexham AFC Women will kick off their 2025/26 Genero Adran Premier campaign on the road, as they face Briton Ferry Llansawel in their opening match on Sunday, September 7.

Club Captain James McClean spoke following the Red Dragons’ arrival in Melbourne, and expressed that the squad are looking forward to the Club’s 2025 Tour Down Under in Australia and New Zealand.

Danny Ward returns to North Wales, signing for Wrexham AFC more than a decade since he departed for Liverpool on a journey which has seen him play in three major international tournaments and also claim an FA Cup winners’ medal.
