KLCC’s arts review program Viz City takes you to the Frida Khalo, Diego Rivera Exhibit in Portland

The Art Crawl was a way for us to reconnect, to do and see as much art as possible between Seaside and Gold Beach in ten days.

If you haven’t been out to see the special juried show at Maude Kerns Art Center–it’s called “Home Team: World Stage”-- it’ll be open through this big weekend until July Ho22. You still have some time to take out-of-town visitors to see what amazing talent we have right here, right now.

Participating fully inside the world of abstract art is a subtle pleasure.

You’ll enjoy the paint tubes strewn around and all the paraphernalia of being in the living, breathing studio of an “oil painter, generally cheerful disposition.”

The Robert Cecil Salon at 545 Willamette currently has a one woman show up by Jan Linz called \“Balance.\” It might be a hair salon, but it is also a micro gallery, so you’re welcome to come in just to look at the art. Please do!

Be sure to check out the Don Dexter Gallery Saturday Session. This free event will feature a demonstration by local artist Ray Bidegain. I’ll be there representing Viz City and KLCC, and I’d love to meet you.
