IS IT RAINING NEAR YOU? Rain returned to the Bay Area today, with showers scattered in the North Bay and more rainfall expected across the wider Bay Area later in the day.

KTVU Meteorologist Roberta Gonzales forecasts a slight dip in the warmer temperatures on Thursday, but they will still be above average. Then Friday and Saturday things really heat up with part of the Bay Area seeing temperatures in the 90s and perhaps even 100 degrees.

While much of the country bakes under record-breaking summer heat, the Bay Area is experiencing a different kind of summer, one that hasn’t felt this mild in decades.
