Mia Love, who was the first Black Republican woman elected to Congress and the first Black member of Congress from Utah, is dead at age 49 after a three-year battle with brain cancer.
Labor groups across Utah will begin gathering signatures on Saturday in hopes of putting a referendum on the 2026 ballot to overturn a new anti-collective bargaining law.
Utah labor unions said Wednesday they will run a ballot referendum to repeal Utah’s anti-public union bill, HB267, which Gov. Spencer Cox signed into law last month.
