Her murals are building bridges between people, especially children

The Frick Pittsburgh Point Breeze is known for its works by old masters. But since August, its rotunda has displayed a small mural designed by artist Ebtehal Badawi and painted by anyone who wanted to add a few strokes of color. It will remain on exhibit until March 30. Badawi, who was born in Saudi Arabia, wants to stop the bullying and marginalizing of people through her art and her Pittsburgh Builds Bridges organization. The initiative began in 2019.
