    R.I. worker sues Lifespan over long COVID discrimination

    On Jan. 5, Dawn Desilets filed a federal lawsuit against the Lifespan Corporation for disability discrimination and retaliation for using the Family and Medical Leave Act.     On Aug. 25, New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that Rhode Island and Maine had joined Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey in advancing a hydrogen hub in the region. Bill H7275 proposes that K-12 students receive education on climate change "and understand key environmental, climate and sustainability principles," according to the text of the legislation.
