On the list of firsts, there are many that are viewed as highly admirable: first to market, first to accomplish a feat once thought impossible, first to make a major discovery, first to break a world record… the list goes on. Being called ‘first to voluntarily jump off a platform 134m in the air, suspended only by a cord’ probably wouldn’t rank high on that list. But that’s precisely what I did after arriving at the summit of AJ Hackett’s Ben Nevis bungee jumping site in Queenstown, New Zealand.
