IGN can exclusively reveal the first trailer for Watchmen Chapter II, the second part of the animated two-part feature film from Warner Bros. Animation and Paramount that adapts the seminal 1980s graphic novel series by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons. Watchmen Chapter II debuts on Digital on November 26 and on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 3.

Something about Joker: Folie à Deux that both journalists and fans have pointed out: the idea that the movie is a direct rebuke of the fans who embraced the first film. But it wasn’t the intent of director Todd Phillips to make fans of his previous Joker film appear to be the bad guys of his sequel.

After a five-year wait, Joker: Folie à Deux, the hotly anticipated follow-up to Joker, is finally out in theaters. That 2019 blockbuster grossed over $1 billion at the global box office and was the first DC Comics-based movie to ever be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. But does it have a post-credits scene?

Arthur Fleck – the protagonist of 2019’s Joker and its sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux – was just a struggling comedian and party clown until he inspired an anarchic social movement through his Gotham City murder spree. In Joker 2, Arthur is a supervillain to some and a superstar to others. “This is in some ways the fallout of that, the idea of celebrity and what do you do when you've created this image in this character and you have to live up to it," said Joaquin Phoenix, who won the Best Actor Oscar for Joker, in a recent interview with IGN.

Where is Gotham City located? While widely believed to be somewhere on the eastern seaboard of the United States, the exact state that Batman’s hometown is in has remained a matter of debate over the years through its various and often conflicting depictions in DC Comics, movies, TV shows, and video games.

While Bruce Wayne is not yet Batman in the Gotham City inhabited by Arthur Fleck, Joker and Joker: Folie à Deux director and co-writer Todd Phillips thinks this Joker would admire the Dark Knight Detective.

IGN recently spoke to the creative team behind HBO’s The Penguin about bringing the saga of Oz Cobb (played once again by Colin Farrell) from the big screen to streaming. Matt Reeves, who directed 2022’s The Batman which introduced this new live-action incarnation of the iconic DC Comics baddie, has called the spin-off “a gangster story” that offers “a version of Oz Cobb that was not like anything you'd seen in any of the other iterations.”
