Just announced destinations on American Airlines’ Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) summer 2024 roster will make passengers want to pack their bags now. American is adding three nonstop international routes to Nice, France (NCE); Naples, Italy (NAP); and Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH) from PHL in summer 2024. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is installing facial biometric technology at 25 boarding gates in Terminals A-East and A-West to help U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) process departing passengers on international flights safely and efficiently. The facial biometrics process is designed to verify travelers’ identities by comparing a live photo to images that the traveler has already provided to the government, such as passport and visa photos.

Philadelphia International Airport’s food delivery robot “gita” has been a hit since joining the OrderAtPHL team in February—even making appearances on late night talk shows. Now the public can get on a first name basis with the robot—literally—by entering PHL Food & Shops’ “Name the gita contest”.

Positive messages can pop up anywhere. Guests traveling through PHL can find them in two art exhibits: “Fill the Walls with Hope” between Terminals C and D and “Granny Graffiti” in Terminal F.
