General Manager Clint Hutchens says at one point the flooding was so bad, he didn’t even recognize the greens he’s been playing since he was 12. Hutchens says Draper Creek runs through their golf course and allows it to drain the rain the area so often gets. But after days of heavy rainfall, the creek filled up, and the water on the course had nowhere left to go, leaving puddles throughout the course.
