<p>STATE COLLEGE — Penn State fans aren’t likely to forget about that nagging stat from last season’s final game any time soon — zero catches by a wide receiver in a three-point loss to Notre Dame.</p>

<p>Add another responsibility for Dominic DeLuca this season at Penn State — occasionally switching helmets during the game.</p>

<p>The expectations are not being downplayed. Not inside the Lasch Building and certainly not by fans, followers and pundits across the country.</p>

<p>Beaver Stadium is set to transform as part of a multi-year renovation project, starting this winter.</p>

<p>Tuesday was status quo for Penn State when the new College Football Playoff rankings were released.</p>
