The musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” will be presented at 7 p.m. on Nov. 15, 16, 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 24.

The Symphonic Band will perform six pieces, including “A Hymn for the Lost and the Living” by Eric Ewazen, a renowned American composer and teacher who visited BSU earlier this year.

An unveiling ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Veterans Day at 130 Minnesota Ave. SW, next to the Beltrami County History Center.

Northland began as a one-man show by John Peterson, a fishing guide who grew up in Bemidji. He started making jigs and tackle for his guiding clients out of his cabin on Long Lake.

Pho (pronounced “fuh”) is the national dish of Vietnam, and has become popular around the world.

The 15-member ensemble is made up of about one-third BSU students and two-thirds community members.

The concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, followed by a reception, pie auction and pie sale in the Thompson Recital Hall at Bemidji State University.
