Montgomery County has terminated its lease agreement with the San Jacinto River Authority and closed the Lake Conroe Park off Texas 105. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Splendora Police officers arrested three Houston men in connection with the shooting death of a Splendora man. A Conroe neighborhood is banding together by establishing a hotline to protect pets after a coyote took a family’s small dog and killed it earlier this month. Ana Nichole Cochran lives in Dominion Ridge off League Line Road. On the weekend of Jan. 6, her family dog, Grizzly, was taken by a coyote.
