I.V. has now lost its community center twice, once during for 50 years since 1970, and again for 21 months during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The SBC Board of Supervisors unanimously voted on Tuesday to rename Isla Vista’s houseless shelter Hedges House of Hope, after Isla Vista’s most well-known humanitarian.
