The district is moving most sixth graders from elementary to middle school, changing school start and end times and implementing a mandatory career academy course for all freshmen.
The district plans to announce in October or November which schools it proposes closing, and the Anchorage School Board would vote on whether to approve that plan in December.
No insurance or ID is needed to access the free care, which includes dental, vision and medical services. Another pop-up clinic is happening in Fairbanks.
