Aileen Kent says she knew right away that this 2,700-square-foot home was the
one she wanted after she and her husband looked at about 30 homes back in 2001.
Mayor John Valdini says the village board is concerned about maintaining
or restoring historical infrastructure such as the gazebos, bridges and the
cascade.
The future of the land on which two small former airports operated, near the
hamlet’s eastern boundary, are on the minds of area residents, says a member of
a property owners association.
“Jericho is very residential with sidewalks, where you can push baby carriages
and kids can ride their bikes. It makes it easy to get to know your neighbors,”
a real estate agent says.
“The summer fairs are beautiful,” says a real estate agent, and for Halloween
and Christmas, the decorated Park Boulevard is closed temporarily so families
can walk safely and enjoy holiday events.
Jason, 43, director of sales in the health-care field, and Nicole, 34, a
stay-at-home mother, say they’re looking to move to the North Shore to enjoy
boating.
