As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the U.S. and Chicago, leaders are
zeroing in on this demographic and pleading with young people to wear masks and
social distance.
The Chicago Tribune’s Class of 2020 Graduation Speech Contest is open to
students from throughout the area, who are invited to submit their advice,
thoughts and dreams for their fellow graduates.
As the new kid on the block, the Laver Cup trophy doesn’t yet carry the same
sort of mystique as the Stanley Cup or the Ryder Cup, but, make no mistake, this
is no ordinary trinket up for grabs.
