The DOJ, Treasury, State Department and Secret Service announce actions against the men allegedly behind notorious payment exchange services and a carding website.

The issue, discovered and reported by Meta in 2019, affected hundreds of millions of users across Meta platforms.

The simultaneous actions targeted the Star Blizzard espionage operation, which targeted government and civil society around the world.

The attacks targeted Russia’s leading state media provider and the country’s courts system.

Latest incident involves stolen employee data, the company said in a federal filing.

The vulnerabilities are tied to the Microsoft Management Console and Windows MSHTML Platform.

The company reported a 300% drop in ransomware attacks that made it to the encryption stage over the past two years.
