YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown State University junior Lili Minich is being recognized as a YSU Scholar Athlete. Minich was named an Academic All-District selection for the second straight season. Minich finished her junior year with 12 singles wins, 11 doubles victories and a dominant 5-1 record in conference play. The Frankfurt, Germany native helped lead the Penguins to the conference tournament semifinals this year and back-to-back Horizon League titles the previous two seasons.

YSU Senior Lizzie Saur helped lead the Penguins to victory in their home opener this season with a 7-over 79 at Mill Creek Golf Course.

YSU Junior Brandon Mikos made 10 starts for the Penguin’s baseball team last Spring.

YSU Senior Lyndsay Ennis is four-year member of the Penguin’s nationally ranked bowling team.
