Sen. Daines has backed the CBO’s projections, acknowledging that it is a nonpartisan group, on multiple occasions as far back as 2016.

This is the third round of rebates in the last couple years, as Montana residents' property tax bills have surged. This year, the application window will close on Oct. 1.
