Two people are dead after a motorcyclist ran a red light at an estimated speed of more than 100 mph, causing a fiery collision that involved five vehicles.

The Weld County Coroner’s Office has identified the 35-year-old man whom police shot and killed while he was reportedly wielding a knife in north Greeley as Sean Michael Ybarra.

The process to redraw Weld County’s districts will soon be underway after the commissioners named the nine-member committee tasked with developing three maps for approval by July 30.
