On Monday, March 6, the chair of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Firearms Safety Task Force notified members that it had completed its work and had issued a final report filled with recommended strategies that local boards of education may consider implementing in their respective districts.

The New Jersey School Boards Association will host its third annual Spring Education Symposium on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The virtual event will feature concurrent training sessions covering meaningful subjects school officials have requested.

The conference’s keynote address, “Creating A Connection in School Finance,” will be led by Kurt Rebovich Jr., senior manager of member services and strategic partnerships at NJSBA, and Charlie Muller, interim executive county superintendent of Ocean County schools.
