As the referee blew the whistle and called the game a little over 60 minutes later, with a score of 48-5, the UBC Thunderbirds took their second consecutive national title.

Since 1948, 40 students, alumni and coaches have represented UBC and their country across 22 different Games.

The last time an Iron Legend made it up the wall was in 2019. This year, Michael Dowhaniuk, outside hitter on the UBC men’s volleyball team, and forestry master's student Dominic Janus completed the challenge.
