The mayor and councillor expense report covering Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025, was released to the public during Tuesday night’s city council meeting. The only member of council to incur expenses during that period was Mayor James Murdock, totalling $1,333.47. That amount included $957.51 for accommodations at a Delta hotel while attending a Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) delegation trip to Ottawa from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, 2025. In November, the mayor claimed $149.67 for gifts related to Moose Jaw Days at the Legislature. He also claimed $226.29 in December for food expenses following a budget meeting.
