If we are unable to handle criticism, we may want to consider doing something different with our lives.

Jesus spoke so much about eternal fire and brimstone, weeping and gnashing of teeth, and the everlasting miseries of hell precisely because he loves us. His warnings about judgment invite us to flee beneath the shadow of his wings for shelter and refuge.

While each intimate event has its special features, the one that speaks to me most about God, humanity, and the meaning of everything, is the one that includes a deathbed. I am welcomed to the deathbed because of my role—to shepherd, comfort, pray and speak words of life to people in their final days.

Some say that Christians should support one political party and should never support the other. Interestingly, there are people from the left as well as from the right who talk this way. I don’t think kingdom politics are that simple. Let’s talk about a few reasons why, shall we?
