The student backlash against paying full tuition for online or remote learning
is a rude reminder that the academic program of any institution is a given for
students and there is a limit to how much value and willingness to pay they
attach to it.
The OPM (online program management) company that helps universities bring their
programs into the online market will now own the pioneering MOOC (massive, open,
online courses) provider created by Harvard and MIT in 2012.
