A spokesperson with the postal service said the incident is under investigation and confirmed the semi was a USPS vehicle.

"The Escalade made a left turn, and an 18-year-old woman who was dancing on the roof fell off and onto the pavement," a Sunday morning statement from police said.

The shooting happened around 3 p.m. in the 4300 block of St. Ferdinand Avenue, according to police.

The driver, a 52-year-old resident of Columbia, was critically injured, but police said he's expected to survive. Two suspects were taken into custody.

A car was making a left turn onto Troy Road when it struck a motorcycle that was traveling through the intersection, police said.

Casey Robertson, 36, of St. Peters, was issued a summons to appear in a St. Louis County court on August 11.
