McBride Homes is proposing to build 14 condominium buildings and a multi-unit commercial building with a patio, situated around about 6 acres of greenspace.

Developments in some of the St. Louis County's newest suburbs are building "town centers" of entertainment, employment and housing, where there weren't any before.

Once demolition and razing wraps up next April, the building of horizontal infrastructure, such as roads, sidewalks, parking, sidewalks and utility installation will begin.

The job center and its two employees will open services Nov. 5 at the new location at 2900 Pershall Road, the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development said.

The development will replace the near-vacant Woods Mill Center, a 12-acre dilapidated strip mall southwest of Interstate 64 and Highway 141.

A spokesman for St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
