The report accuses another resident of the abuse.

The accident happened Thursday afternoon north of Wichita.

Officers were searching for the vehicle in what started as a suspected kidnapping. Police said no officers were actively in pursuit when the crash occurred.

The 30-year-old previously worked at Wichita North High School.

The voice was “consistent with that of a juvenile male,” police said.

He died in the shooting at their home on the Fort Riley military installation.

The Hutchinson Regional Airport was closed for around two hours.

“Individually these systems are powerful, but together ... they give officers a clear and comprehensive picture.”

The suspects traveled from out of state to meet with the victim at a parking lot on North Maize Road, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim was 60. His brother is 58.
