Evacuation orders in Highland

The Franklin Fire in Malibu Canyon spread to over 2,600 acres by 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Pepperdine officials also temporarily activated shelter-in-place protocols.

Roughly 82,400 residents remain under evacuation orders or warnings across Los Angeles County.
