When GM’s next-generation architecture launches in 2028, the automaker says it will enable faster software updates and a simpler manufacturing process with fewer physical wires.
GM reported adjusted earnings before interest and taxes of $3.4 billion in the quarter ended Sept. 30, down 18 percent. Global revenue was largely flat at $48.6 billion.
