An aerospace company raises cash for the fourth month in a row, plus investors fund a wine brand, a health insurer, a solar energy firm and a bottle maker.

Denver’s Guild Education, an employee training firm, raised the most of 38 Colorado startups with a $139.3 million haul.

Among those that raised cash: A robotics firm, two aerospace companies, and a business with an app for insurance agencies.

“Here, you can relax, connect with other families and find local resources that can help parents reconnect with themselves,” said the owner of The Den.

Industry veterans Chris Erickson and Adam Burrows launched Range Ventures with a $23 million fund and it has invested in 19 companies so far.

“The chicken isn’t worth the money, it’s what it represents,” said Beacon’s owner of patrons who pay $500 for an image of a chicken with a disco ball.

Denver and Boulder firms raised the most cash, topped by $265 million for Guild Education and $151 million for Meati Foods.

“I don’t even know if I’ll be able to open Vine Street in 2023,” Vine Street Pub owner Kevin Daly told BusinessDen, because of a lack of staff.

A Steamboat Springs tequila company and an Englewood popcorn producer were among companies that reported raising cash.
