A power outage that was affecting about 7,000 Duke Energy customers in St. Petersburg on Wednesday morning has been resolved.The outage was reported around 9:15 a.m. after an animal came into contact with Duke Energy equipment, causing damage to a power line, according to Audrey Stasko, a spokesperson for the company.
