The ChiclaCSA and Chican@ & Latin@ Studies Program organized the 2023 March Up Bascom on Friday for community members and students, commencing the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. 

Hundreds of students met at the Red Gym at 9 a.m. Wednesday and marched to Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin’s office at Bascom Hall, where they met with university officials and delivered demands to Mnookin. 

The Pride Society and the Queer & Trans Engineers & Qouncil (QTE) of UW-Madison hosted the Gothiqueer Pride Prom on Mar. 3 at Great Hall in Memorial Union. The event was open to the public and provided light refreshments, as well as a photo booth area. The drag show, starring local performers, began after attendees socialized.
