While many state governments provided additional funding to food banks and local pantries, Vermont’s is only one of a few providing direct replacement benefits.
“This is not going to be a super-smooth process. This is going to be an iterative process,” said Green Mountain Care Board member David Murman of the work required to participate.
The state is requesting applications to fill a seat on the independent health care regulatory body to replace Lunge, a longtime member who plans to leave in April.
Monday is the last day to drop off your absentee ballot in an official ballot box or with your town or city clerk. On Tuesday, ballots should be delivered to the polls before 7 p.m.
