Elysian Brewing is shutting down its large production brewery on Airport Way in the Georgetown neighborhood. As many as 90 employees will lose their jobs as a result. 

The University of California Davis has long offered education for those who produce beer, but now the university has introduced a new program for the professionals who market the finished product: the Digital Marketing for Craft Breweries program.

To celebrate the 2024 Frenzgiving season, Bale Breaker teamed up with eight breweries from Seattle's Ballard Brewery District. This Friday, November 1st Bale Breaker releases Frenzgiving IPA at its Yakima and Ballard taprooms.

Seattle’s Georgetown Brewing has added Seattle-based Timber City Ginger Beer to its core family. This marks Georgetown’s first foray into the expanding world of non-traditional beer adult beverages.

This year 65 breweries submitted 165 fresh hop beers for the annual Washington Fresh Hop Beer Awards. The beers were evaluated by a panel of expert judges using a blind-tasting format following the Brewer's Association's Style Guidelines. Medals were awarded in nine different style categories.
