Whether on screen or behind the scenes, several Fargo-Moorhead stars will see their work on the big screen next month.

Musicians will play some memorable movie themes and scores at Saturday's 'Night at the Oscars'.

“She was the founding godmother of the Fargo-Moorhead arts scene. She was a mentor. A titan,” said former student and longtime friend Peter Schultz.

Other weekend highlights include a 1980s love unfolding onstage at NDSU, comedian Josh Wolf, Black Jacket Symphony's tribute to The Eagles and FM Kicks' Big Band Bash.

One driver ran into a fish house while the other struck an embankment and trees.

"It’s hard not to interpret them as monuments to libraries,” said Danielle Gravon, chief curator at the Plains Art Museum.

Highlights include Giving Hearts Day activities, concerts from Collective Soul, Blind Pilot, comedy from Christopher Titus, "Tainted Love" art show at The Rouke and more.

The monthly event features a variety of vendors from different cultures.

Chicago last played the area in 2023 at Moorhead's Bluestem Amphiteater.
