SLIDE SHOW: We The People national dialogue launches in Bowling Green

Earlier this year, local leaders in Bowling Green used AI to host one of the largest town halls in U.S. history. This digital town hall, "What Could BG Be?", has since inspired a nation-wide AI-powered conversation, We The People, about what it means to be American today. Bowling Green hosted the launch event Monday for We the People, the new national dialogue being conducted between Google’s Jigsaw team and the Napolitan Institute in the lead-up to the nation’s 250th anniversary. Speakers included; Rep. Brett Guthrie, Warren County Judge Executive Doug Gorman, Napolitan Institute CEO Scott Rasmussen, and Scott Carpenter, Managing Director of Jigsaw.

2025 BGHS Hall of Honor class recognized

Bowling Green Independent Schools honored the Bowling Green High School Hall of Honor, Class of 2025: Alan Simpson, Class of 1981; Clinton Lewis, Class of 1995; and Cierra Waller, Class of 2005 at at luncheon at BGHS, Friday, Sept. 19, 2025. 2024 honoree Patrick Martin was honored as well. The honorees and their families visited and toured the school prior to being introduced on the field at the homecoming football game. The Hall of Honor was established to recognize the outstanding character, achievements, and contributions of Bowling Green High School graduates.  A distinguished honoree demonstrates the district motto of “Excellence Is Worth The Effort” in their professional careers, civic endeavors, and personal relationships.
