“In my humble opinion, it seems to be more adversarial than it used to be and that’s sad," the restaurant owner said. "I honestly believe that every small restaurant owner wants nothing more than to satisfy their guests and we would love to try and rectify any negative situation before they leave. Not because of a potential review but because, when you boil it down, restaurants are customer service businesses first and foremost. Without our customers we are nothing.”
