The owner is also behind a popular Johnson County brunch spot.

It’s the first of a few planned KC area locations for the butcher shop.

Tikka masala burgers, tikka masala chicken cheesesteaks and Philly masala cheese fries will be served at the new restaurant.

A pizzeria, barbecue restaurant, mini golf bar and more are coming to the area.

“We don’t think we’re like anything else in the area,” the general manager said.

The Texas-based chain has six locations in the country, but this is the first in the KC area.

“I think we have the mindset of opening hopefully tons and tons more after that,” one of the owners said.

“Very plush wallpaper, lots of wood and burgundies and gold,” one customer recalled. “It was very, very Victorian in its look.”
