Rain has basically stopped falling since the end of July. Since this is happening, we are starting to see drought conditions increase across mostly Missouri and eastern Kansas.

We are tracking a thunderstorm-producing system from Nebraska. It should hold together long enough to bring some dry areas decent rain.

We have a chance to see some thunderstorms tonight and Tuesday ahead of building heat. Hopefully, your yard or farm gets the rain it needs.

We are tracking 2 cold fonts this week. The 1st one moves through this evening and will bring a chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe.

Today, the weather will improve during the day. Wednesday, the weather will start nice and become unsettled as we track a strong cold front.

A storm system will keep the chance of scattered showers around into early Tuesday. Then, a strong cold front arrives Wednesday.

We need the rain, but we don't necessarily want it on Labor Day weekend. We are tracking a storm system, now near Rapid City, SD that will be heading this way this weekend.

Great weather through Saturday, then increasing rain chances Sunday and Labor Day. There is no guarantee it rains all day on both days.

We are in an unseasonably cold weather pattern for August. Temperatures are going to run 10 to 25 degrees below average.

The heat and extreme humidity will last through Tuesday. Then, a strong summer cold front arrives Wednesday-Thursday with an increase in thunderstorm chances.
