We will see rain and thunderstorms, heavy at times. Then, it will become hot & very humid over the weekend. Heat index values will be around 110°.

We have seen plenty of rain the last few months. Now, the water in the ground will start to evaporate more quickly as temperatures climb to the low 90s. This makes for dangerous heat index values.

We remain in an active weather pattern during the wettest time of year. So, yes that means we have several chances of rain and thunderstorms to track.

We are tracking two main thunderstorm chances between Wednesday and Sunday. Each has a chance to bring severe weather with one having a chance to also bring flash flooding.

We will see great June weather today and Wednesday into Thursday. Then, we go into a stretch where we see a chance of rain and thunderstorms for several days.

We will see an increasing chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this week with little to no severe threat. The days with the best chance of rain look to be Thursday and Friday.

We are going to see abundant sunshine and dry weather through Memorial Day. Then we will see changes.

Our current storm system is exiting, taking the rain and thunderstorms with it. But there is a new storm system to track at the end of the week.

We are tracking two rounds of thunderstorms. The first round ends this morning. The second round has the potential to bring severe weather and flash flooding tonight.

We are going to be in an active weather pattern through Tuesday as we will be tracking several rounds of severe thunderstorms. But, what does this mean for KC?
