Friday, scattered showers, mainly south of the Tennessee River. A cool day with plenty of clouds and the possibility of showers. Upper 70s and low 80s. Friday night, most locations will be dry and a nice evening for high school football. Temps fall into the 60s by Saturday morning. This weekend, sunny both days, a bit of a breezy Saturday. High temps in the low 80s, overnight lows mainly in the 50s, but a few locations may dip into the upper 40s Sunday morning. If that happens, a record low temperature is possible for Huntsville. The record low temp for Sunday, the 8th of September, is 49 degrees back in 2017. Monday through Friday, sunny with high temps in the 80s, overnight low temps around 60 degrees. The forecast is arguably too good with very little rain for the next 10 days with drought conditions likely worsening.
