For today, mainly sunny, warm and breezy. Temps soar well into the 70s, winds will gust to 30 MPH. Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely. For today, a 48 First Alert Weather Day for the potential for severe weather tonight though very early Sunday morning. A wide time spread on actual arrival of the storms for tonight, but high confidence that most of the storm will hold off until the evening, therefore during the day expect dry, warm, and breezy conditions. Temps in the 80s. Tonight, the main line of storms will arrive after 10 PM for locations west and then slowly move east through Sunday morning. It is possible, a few stronger storms may pop before the line arrives between 6 PM and 10 PM for locations west of I-65. Be weather alert this evening and overnight. Have ways to receive notifications. Damaging winds, heavy rainfall, large hail and chance for a few tornadoes possible. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall will be the highest threat. Sunday, storms transition to rainfall and will continue through morning, ending during the afternoon for locations closest to the Georgia/Alabama state line. Temps will drop into the 60s throughout the day.
