The chase stemmed from a break-in at a cannabis facility Tuesday in Salinas.

The suspect barricaded himself in a garage, where hours later a drone found him with a gunshot wound, a sheriff’s spokesperson said.

The victim “appeared to have been involved in a physical altercation,” police said.

The probe centered on QQ Pain Management Health Center on 37th Avenue.

The incident happened Wednesday at the 12th Street Oakland City Center Station.

The fatal collision, the city’s fourth of the year, happened Wednesday at Decoto Road and Royal Ann Drive.

The 20-year-old victim told officers he was seated in a vehicle when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
