Pat Booker Road is slated for safety improvements in early 2027, projected to bring raised medians, pedestrian/bicycle improvements and repairs to the section of the road between Village Green and Aviation Boulevard.

The first phase of the wastewater treatment plant expansion project in Fair Oaks Ranch is moving forward following approval from City Council on March 5.  The project includes upgrades to the Effluent Pump Station, pipeline conveyance improvements, upgrades to the Bottom of the Hill Lift Station and headworks odor mitigation.

Chase Bank at Lemon Creek Ranch will open on March 17, company representatives told Community Impact. The opening of Chase Bank at Lemon Creek Ranch follows the March 3 opening of the location off Bandera Road in Boerne. 

Boerne City Council on March 10 reviewed the draft Safety Action Plan being prepared with the Safe Streets for All Planning Grant, or SS4A.  This plan helps receive federal funding for transportation and pedestrian safety projects.

Fair Oaks Ranch is moving forward with the development of a Facilities Master Plan, which will evaluate city-owned properties and buildings to determine future needs for departments.

Kendall County received an unmodified opinion on the 2025 independent audit conducted by Neffendorf & Blocker PC. An unqualified or unmodified opinion is the highest distinction the county can receive in an audit, meaning no findings were discovered.

Between 2020 and 2025, Kendall County saw a 20.3% population increase, according to county-level data released by the U.S. Census Bureau in March.  Of this population increase, the majority of new residents are identified as domestic migrants, meaning the largest cause of population growth in the county is people moving in. 

In 2027, both the southern and northern sharp corners of Ammann Road in Fair Oaks Ranch are planned to be softened during the road reconstruction project.
