The new program for older high school students, expected to launch in August, will be taught by an Edinburg-based training school for truck drivers.

Adult education, career training, after-school youth programs and refugee resettlement services are offered at The Alliance, which has assisted more than 200,000 community members since its inception in 1985.

A letter sent to the University says that after taxes, a lecturer teaching a full-time course load of lower division classes in the Fall and Spring is paid under $19,956 for the academic year.
