First Alert Forecast: Staying warm with more sunshine, ahead of a weak front Thursday

Our tropical low continues to spin overhead bringing increasing rain chances for the afternoon with a more unsettled pattern through the weekend.

Our pattern remains largely the same as we head over the course of the next 48 hours as our tropical wave continues to move to our west.

High pressure remains firmly in place for the time being and that is allowing us to see plenty of sunshine, but also hot and steamy afternoons.

Isolated showers and storms remain in the forecast as we head through our Monday, but we’ll see some slightly drier weather as we head through the middle of the week.

Thankfully after a a long and stormy week last week, we are seeing more sunshine and quiet weather moving in!

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 9 pm
