A Facebook post from The Nelson County Sheriff’s office says the memorial at Exit 34 on the Bluegrass Parkway was damaged sometime between Sunday, October 9th and Thursday, October 13th.

The 22-year-old mother was killed in a crash in September after her boyfriend lost control of the car and hit a tree.

LMPD Spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the U-Haul was traveling north on the bridge when it lost control, crossed into the Southbound Lane of traffic and hit another vehicle.

The victim was taken to University Hospital for treatment, but died from his injuries.

The officer and someone he was transporting suffered minor injuries.

Police are looking for a maroon Dodge Challenger with left front end damage.

These remains could be tied to missing Louisville mother Andrea Knabel.

The woman and teen girls were all taken to University Hospital for treatment.
