Jill Kolesar, Pharm.D., a professor in UK’s College of Pharmacy and co-director of the UK Markey Cancer Center Molecular Tumor Board, is principal investigator of a study examining the impact molecular tumor board review has in cancer patient outcomes. The incidence of spinal cord injury is over 17,000 new cases per year in the United States. The University of Kentucky is home to the Spinal Cord Injury and Research Center which helps develop new treatment methods for those who experience such trauma.
