Four years at the University have taught me what it means to make an impact despite setbacks.

The University was wrong to denounce this proposal, and must support housing initiatives that provide students more housing options without impacting marginalized communities.

We do not have time to spare — and we never did. Tuesday’s mass shooting in East Lansing is a horrific reminder of that. As the federal system continues to fail us, state legislatures must be proactive and pass legislation that will create stricter and smarter gun laws in order to protect our safety as citizens.

We, at the very least, are owed assurance that our lives and wellbeing are prioritized here on Grounds.

It is long overdue that private jet users are held accountable by both the government and the public.

The meat industry must be regulated in order to turn toward more ethical and sustainable practices.

The existence of grades themselves is inefficient and does nothing but create universal, unrealistic standards that students are expected to meet.

So much time is lost in the process of suppressing our ailments — when we should be fixing the standard that keeps them hidden to begin with.

Participating in diet culture, or even allowing it to perpetuate in society is destructive to not only your physical well-being but your mental one.

This is quite literally a matter of life or death, and it is the responsibility of the President of the United States to spearhead this effort and take executive action if needed.
