The officer was driving with lights and sirens activated at the intersection of Linden and Miller Roads on Tuesday, Nov. 26, when their patrol vehicle was T-boned.
“We still want to attach ourselves to Badawest because we have a lot of loyal customers,” said Jessica Scofield, owner of the restaurant. “We still want them to know who we are, but we want to do our own thing.”
The decision to terminate the second-grade substitute teacher, whose name was not disclosed, was made to ensure the district maintains a safe and focused educational environment, Jones said.
There are more than 2 million lights used for the event, including 10 different colors of LED bulbs, as well as 10 miles of steel used and 10 miles of LED lighting installed inside displays.
